Stream of Consciousness

So I was at the gym the other day and as I walked into the fitness area there was a big sign advertising a "dive in" movie that will be happening this Friday at the BU pool. The movie they are showing is Castaway and any BU student can attend free of charge (I think). The best part though?
Shower caps required.
Could everyone please picture a pool full of people in not swim caps, but shower caps. Excellent. If it wasn't the night before my recital I might go. I HAVE worn a shower cap in public.
My birthday is in like 10 days or something. Weird. I kind of like that my recital is 4 days before it because it makes me really not care about my birthday, which I think is definitely a good thing since I live in a place where I don't have tons and tons of friends. By the way, I'm going to be 24!!!!! Best birthday EVER!
I think I am going to get a massage one day this week as a treat to myself for working so hard for this blasted recital. I have come home many days this week with so many pains and aches and needing to ice my poor hands, so I think I deserve it right? Side note: I do lots of things as a treat to myself: my recital dress, avocados if I've been really good, and I think I might buy myself a ticket to hear the BSO do the Bartok Concerto for Orchestra for my birthday. I should give myself less treats. I'm not a dog. Okay maybe I am. Woof.
My best friend (I have like 10 best friends, so don't be offended girls, but KA gets to be THE best friend just for this post. And KA, you really are THE best friend... i just wanted to make them all feel good), Kristi Ann, got engaged this weekend. I couldn't be happier for her. I've been telling all of my friends here and I don't think they really care, but I am just really excited. I love that girl. She deserves the best and she's getting it. So just in case you're wondering where I'll be on September 18th, the answer is SLC, baby!
Tomorrow morning I am waking up at 3:45. Can't wait. Stay tuned for pictures. Hopefully.
