So I started singing that song when my roommate woke up from her Sunday nap today, and I have decided it is a fitting title for my first blog post. I don't even know who sings that song, or if it's lame, so if you think it is, please don't hate on me. Breaking into song is just an every day occurence.
Yay! I am a blogger. I have been a blogger before, when I was in Paris, but now I am a real one. That is, I have no legitimate need to blog, but have decided to do so just because I enjoy jumping on the bandwagon (I think my mom will have a cow when she finds out I'm doing this and not the thousand other things I claim make me "so busy"). This blog is pretty much just about me. I am selfish. I am a student, and will be for at least two more years, am not married, and do not have any children. Therefore, I WON'T be blogging about my cute kids, the latest recipe I've tried (I live on pasta and wheaties.... and PBJ), or my wonderful husband. Don't mistake this for bitterness, I just want you to know what you are getting into when you read this. I WILL blog about why I love my pink jacket that has been with me for 5 long, wonderful years, the hours I spend blowing into a golden tube that I call a flute, random moments of genius, and so many many awkward moments that I have as an awkward college student. Yes, I am here for you America. I AM the American Dream. And I'm lame. Wow. I guess that was my first post.
