Just a little post

Alright people, I know you've been asking for another post, so here ya go. I am currently watching American Idol (shameless fan), but I do have a few things on my mind that I would like to share with you during the commercial breaks.

1. Lately I have been really bugged by the lovely human beings who think it is normal to hold a conversation with another person or just shout random comments for the people sitting around them to hear while another person is talking. Seriously. I think people think it isn't bad manners to speak while someone else is speaking. I'm not talking about normal conversations-- I am an Elmer and, therefore, used to being interrupted regularly-- but I am talking about more formal settings. It seems like every classroom I walk into I get lucky and sit next to the most obnoxious person in the class. It drives me CRAZY! What has happened to respect in this world?! It is turning me into something I never wanted to become. A "Shush-er." I am ashamed. So, go out and do me a favor this week and zip your lips at least once when you catch yourself yapping when one of your superiors is speaking. This is making me crazy.


2. The exciting news of my life is that someday, somewhere I will go to graduate school. These are the schools I applied to..... I've heard back from a few.... I'm not going to tell you what I've heard or from who until I make my final decision, which could take another month. But here are the lovely mascots and school signs (I'm too tired to think of the proper name for these things), and you can cast your vote. The schools are University of Texas, University of North Texas, Boston University, Boston Conservatory, and University of Michigan. Wahoo. And just so you know, Boston Conservatory doesn't have a mascot. I think they should be the music notes. Presh.
